The sommelier is responsible for maintaining a wine list that meets the goals set by management and for ensuring that proper service of wine and beer is maintained according to the wine service manual. This staff member conducts training of wait staff and keeps them up to date of all changes to the wine list. The sommelier orders alcoholic beverages as needed, maintains the beverage storeroom, and verifies all alcoholic beverage delivery invoices.
