POSITION: Head Brewer LOCATION: Park Pizza and Brewing Co. COMPANY: Tavistock Restaurant Collection (TRC), a portfolio of restaurants, comprised of many unique brands, with U.S. locations coast to coast. TRC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tavistock Group, a private investment organization with a portfolio of 200+ companies reaching across five continents. GENERAL JOB OVERVIEW The Head Brewer position is a key member of TRC’s Operations Team, reporting directly to the General Manager of the operation. The Brewer will supervise all personnel that work on the brewing team and oversee brewing operations. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • The Brewer will assist the entire FOH and BOH Team's in providing hands on training regarding their product as well as the overall brewing program • Planning the overall in-house beer menu • Adjusting the menu accordingly in terms of seasonal items • Developing beer presentations and product release. • Effective coordination / management of all brewery related activities • Ensuring that safety and hygiene standards are maintained in the brewery • Work with management on social media and the proper information being released about the product • Develop relationship with local community and home brewers to leverage their interest. • Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of all brewing equipment and facility.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years as a successful Head Brewer or Brewer at a full-service brewery. • Experience managing multiple layers of employees with varying levels of experience and expertise. • Practical experience with varying levels of a full-service restaurant. • High level of competence in Microsoft Office. • Reputation of integrity and “doing the right thing”. • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, combined with a natural ability to influence and build consensus. Proven ability to hold people accountable, while simultaneously giving them the tools and coaching for success. A Servant Leader. • Excellent financial analysis, problem solving, and operational troubleshooting abilities. • Detail oriented, and ability to tackle complex assignments • Knowledge of brewing, cost control, accounting and state regulations and norms pertaining to the business. • Understand trends in craft beer • Creative vision in order to implement your/company's vision into recipes • Excellent management and organizational skills • Local Health Department and Food Safety Knowledge • Flexibility and ability to change course according to the needs of the company and guests PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Frequent walking, kneeling, bending and reaching. • Able to stand and be active for extended periods of time which may be at least 10 hours per shift. • Able to bend at the waist and lift items up to 50 lbs. to waist level. • Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 20 pounds frequently. • Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
