Description:

The Manager of Recruiting and HR is a hands-on-role that will support our management teams leading 52 corporate owned restaurants in multi-state locations. The primary focus is on recruiting for exempt positions and providing HR support to the Management Team and at individual store level. Responsibilities include: •Recruiting external and internal qualified candidates for exempt positions and providing support to management at store level to recruit non-exempt team members. •Supervise and manage payroll and benefit team (2 full time staff), ensure compliance with HR, payroll and benefit programs. •Maintain and help to interpret company policies and procedures including employee handbooks, job descriptions, performance evaluation, compensation and benefits administration. •Administer the Safety and W/C program and the company's General Liability and EPLI policies. •Responsible for ensuring that employee relations, job performance counseling and exit interviews are handled appropriately. •Conduct internal investigations related to allegations of violations of company policies and respond to UI, EEO, USERRA, DHS and DOL claims. •Collaborate with Payroll and Accounting to comply with external audits, generate reports from ADP databases including compliance reporting for annual EEO-1, OSHA, 5500 requirements. •Participate on 401 k Investment Committee and manage the annual benefit renewal and enrollment process for benefit eligible team members. •Perform other duties as needed. Requirements:

•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field is required. •Minimum of five (5) years of progressive HR Generalist and full cycle recruiting experience. •Above average skills with Microsoft Office Suite, PeopleMatter Applicant Tracking System, and knowledge of ADP Workforce Now HRIS/Payroll systems is preferred. •Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills. •Ability to work independently to plan and prioritize is required. •Prefer candidates with SPHR CPC, PHR and/or CEBS certification. •Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality and/or retail environment preferred, but not required.
