WHO WE ARE: &pizza is a fast-casual pizza brand headquartered in Washington, D.C and known for our gourmet handmade pizza pies, trademark ampersand, inventive flavor combinations, localized store design and dedication to the communities we serve. Founded in July 2012 &pizza opened its first store in the H Street Corridor of Washington, D.C and has since grown to 14 locations across the DMV area employing 300+ tribe members. WHAT IS AN &PIZZA BRAND MAVERICK: A Brand Maverick is the face of the &pizza brand in their local community and will spearhead the opening of a number of new shops across DC in 2016. The Brand Maverick is responsible for building brand awareness, developing relationships within the local community and driving traffic into our shop using innovative, surprising marketing tactics. The Maverick is responsible for community outreach, event staffing, leading off site marketing activations and pioneering marketing strategies that connect &pizza with the local community.
