Description:Support the planning, development, and implementation of internal communications campaigns targeted to our corporate employees, field employees, franchisees and/or restaurant managers and team members. The duration of this assignment is July 2019 through January 2020.
Email and Field Communications
•Execute weekly TeamKFC News process
•Draft and execute restaurant-specific emails (review/edit, approvals, prepare, and send), including topics such as crisis management, test markets, technology rollouts, etc.
TeamKFC Internal Site Management
•Approve TeamKFC content submissions, including promotion content for each calendar window
•Attend site development and status calls with Yum! and external vendor
•Oversee, test, and support Base22 ongoing development/improvement and project work
•Issues management and troubleshooting
•Train new content authors
Meetings and Events:
•Support 2020 Convention planning including workshop facilitation
•Support/facilitate Operations webcasts
Other Communications Needs:
•Maintain communications calendar
•Ensure promotion and project communications plans are executed
•Review/proof promotion reference guides/materials/eLearning
•Pull and prepare lists for communications purposes
Requirements:•Education: 4-year degree – Communications, Journalism, English or related field preferred
•Experience: Prior experience in internal/corporate communications, journalism, or public affairs
•Superior verbal and written communications skills
•Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, along with the ability to work with and influence senior-level management with professional maturity and sensitivity
•Ability to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic, fast paced environment
