Description:

The Analyst II is responsible for ensuring cashless payments are running smoothly throughout the sonic system across all payment platforms. The Analyst II works with both internal and external parties in order to provide reporting, analysis, and insights into the cashless payments function. This position is responsible for managing internal and external relationships to ensure payment continuity for current and future payment activities. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Essential Functions: • Manage Relationship with Payment Processor and Card Brands and Internal Stakeholders • Continuously develop & Improve the reporting function of cashless payments • Ensure all cashless payments are processing correctly throughout the system • Manage Sonic Gift Card Program • Manage ongoing payment projects • Manage Corporate Credit Card Program

Requirements:

Education and Work Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred; • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an analytical role, preferable experience with process improvement with reporting. Desire to acquire knowledge around SQL and/or COGNOS is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Analytical and customer driven skills are required. • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, able to communicate effectively and use e-mail constructively. • Must be high performer, especially in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment. • Should understand and function effectively in a team environment. A customer-focused, service driven attitude is essential. • Must be able to plan and schedule accordingly to ensure all deadlines are met. • Must have the ability to multi-task. • Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitoring of own work to ensure quality. • The ability to build genuine, effective relationships with all constituencies is crucial. High level interpersonal skills a must. • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to develop and follow processes are essential. • Ability to resolve problems creatively in addition to bringing new solutions to the organization. • SQL and/or COGNOS basic skills are preferred. • Advanced skills in Excel a must. • Proficiency in MS Office including Power Point, Word and Outlook. • Working knowledge of statistical models
