Description:

Summary: Conducts in-depth business analysis to create actionable insights that lead to improved decision making and financial performance/ROI of sales campaigns, programs and key initiatives. This role will act as a generalist providing short-term strategy recommendations and creating reports/performing ad hoc analyses for business partners, as needed. Confidence and leadership are required in the preparation, compilation, and presentation of various datatype analyses and recommendations. Essential Functions: • Conducts in-depth business analysis for the following areas: sales trends, promotional performance, market tests, event days, and other promotional activities. • Works cross-functionally with project partners to develop test scenarios, collect and analyze data, and report key findings to management to support marketing promotional calendars and product projections • Assist in market test analytics and reporting inclusive of dashboards/reports for weekly distribution to project partners and stakeholders and creating professional and consumable presentation materials • Support event day promotions by providing product projections, analyzing sales and performance and distributing follow up results and reports • Analyze and report on regional and market specific promotions and menu products • Conduct analysis on local and regional sales trends, operational metrics and competitive landscape • Creates presentation materials, reports and dashboards, derived from Enterprise data tables using SQL queries and other applicable reporting tools • Provides primary support for daily ad hoc request • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements:

Education and Work Experience Required: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, MIS, Economics, Math or related field • 1 – 3 years of experience in an analytical role, preferable experience with quantitative analysis of marketing results

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with advanced expertise in PowerPoint and Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced functions, formulas, filtering, etc.), and database skills (SQL knowledge preferred) • Analytical and customer-focused, service driven attitude is essential. • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, able to communicate effectively and use e-mail constructively. • Must be high performer and self-starter, especially in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment. • Should understand and function effectively in a team environment. • Must be able to plan and schedule accordingly to ensure all deadlines are met. • Must have the ability to multi-task. #LI-JA1
