Description:

As a senior-level professional, this position will work under minimal supervision in providing comprehensive analytic research support. This position is critical to understanding the brand’s sales, profit and product trends in order to develop strategies and recommendations to inform national and regional marketing campaigns, product testing, and regional/local performance improvement plans. This role will be responsible for defining requirements for analysis and assessing potential business impact and recommending appropriate courses of action based on research and analyses findings. The expectation is that this individual will become an expert in the brand’s business performance on a national and regional level by collecting, analyzing and reporting information critical to marketing and operations decision making. Essential Functions: • Perform quantitative research and analyses on various types of data such as sales, P&L, product mix, discounting, operational KPIs, and vendor supplied data at the national, regional, and local level • Develop strategies and recommendations for partners using research and analytic outputs in conjunction with brand goals, customer insights and operational performance guidelines • Works cross-functionally with project partners to develop test scenarios, collect and analyze data, and report key findings to management to support marketing promotional calendars and product projections • Manage market test analytics and reporting inclusive of dashboards/reports for weekly distribution to project partners and stakeholders and creating professional and consumable presentation materials • Primary support for daily ad hoc requests and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Education and Work Experience Required: • 5+ years’ experience in a dedicated analyst role with similar responsibilities • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or other similar fields with strong analytical training) Preferred: • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or similar field Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with advanced expertise in PowerPoint and Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced functions, formulas, filtering, etc.), and database skills (SQL knowledge preferred) • Passion for data and knowledge, a curious mind, and a strong desire to solve problems • Effective and professional communication skills with an ability to relate to various partners • Extremely detail oriented in approach to work and timeline driven • Personal integrity, humility and an appreciation for the power of true teamwork, and a sense of humor • Self-starter personality who can operate with minimal supervision • Minimal travel required (5-10%)
