Position Summary Snap Kitchen is looking for engineers that want to build stuff quickly, possibly break things along the way, and fix it even faster. Our team follows lean principles and values rapid deployment, metrics based engineering, and testing-driven workflows. We work alongside developers to ensure that Snap Kitchen delivers a reliable and performant product to our users, whilst supporting a 24x7 production environment. We challenge engineers to be involved in the product, not just the code, and to work closely with the digital team to set priorities and goals. The ideal personality for this role is helpful, intellectually curious and independent. Key Accountabilities • Own our dev / test / staging and production infrastructure. • Automate all interactions between our engineering team and our infrastructure. Build a world-class software environment that is reliable, scalable, measurable, and maintainable. • Streamline our internal business operations including interfaces with ERP, CRM, marketing automation, and marcom systems. • Deliver tools and processes rapidly and iteratively. Work in an experiment-driven environment with equal parts direct customer feedback and user behavioral metrics. • Thrive in a startup culture within a rapidly growing brick-and-mortar business. • Above all- keep it Snappy!

Requirements:

• Execution, Unleashing Talent, Collaboration, Flexibility, Good Judgement, and Reliability. • 5+ years of full lifecycle software engineering, preferably using dynamic languages; Linux System Administration, AWS: VPC, EC2, Cloudfront, Route53, AutoScaling, Elastic Load Docker, awscli, HAProxy, Python, Bash, git. • Experienced with mobile and web products. • 2+ years’ operating SaaS infrastructure in house or through PaaS providers. AWS or Heroku experience a plus. • 2+ years deploying products, continuously integrating, upgrading databases without downtime, migrating third party systems. • Comfortable in fast, moving iterative environments. You keep products shippable. You work cross functionally. You take ownership and estimate accurately. • Demonstrate ability to meet or beat assigned targets and deadlines under normal circumstances, and ability to make trade-offs and when needed to optimize outcome when conditions change
