The Assistant Plant Controller will be responsible for the accounting and budgeting processes for Snap Kitchen’s largest production kitchen in Fort Worth. The successful candidate will serve as the business partner to the Operations Team and will be responsible for budgeting, capital expenditures, inventory, cost of goods sold, labor, and maximizing productivity while minimizing waste. You will be responsible for the financial integrity of the kitchen operations including proper inventory valuation, fixed assets, and the accuracy of the standard cost system. This position reports to the Senior Corporate Controller, based in Austin. What you will do… • Provide financial direction and support to the Kitchen Operations team including cost accounting and variance analysis, labor, capital expenditures, return on investment analysis, inventory control, and product costing. • Partner with the Kitchen Operations leadership team to establish targets and monitor execution to achieve operational efficiencies. • Develop accurate monthly forecasts of the kitchen’s operating results. • Work closely with Purchasing to optimize food cost and identify and resolve variances. • Month-end close including monthly physical inventory and reconciliation, journal entries, financial statements, variance analysis, and helping prepare the month-end reporting package for the Board of Directors and senior leadership team. • Be responsible for developing the Manufacturing business plans and drive the forecasting process for the kitchen. • Support the VP of Operations in the overall financial management of the division. • Assist in the development and documentation of process improvements and new procedures to maintain and strengthen internal controls. • Special projects as assigned. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited four-year university. • Solid knowledge of US GAAP. • 5+ years of relevant supply chain and cost accounting experience. • Experience with a multi-unit, multi-state wholesale food or restaurant chain preferred. • Lean Six-Sigma Certification preferred. • CPA and / or MBA a plus. • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical abilities. • Experience with suggesting and implementing process improvements. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong MS Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, sumifs). • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Etc.) • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn quickly and meet deadlines • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.

Additional Info:

• BA/BS degree from an accredited four year university with an emphasis on Accounting/Finance • 5+ years of relevant cost accounting experience, including costing in food manufacturing. • Manufacturing experience required • Experience with a complex supply chain, in-house manufacturing and contract manufacturing preferred • Experience with implementing an MRP/ERP system preferred • Experience within a manufacturing company supplying product to Retail Customers preferred Familiar with MRP/ERP systems and leveraging capabilities to drive efficiency and informed decision-making • Willing and able to travel as much as 20% of time (domestically) • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Etc.) • Advanced skill in Excel and Access required • Must have strong analytical skills • Must be a team player • Positive, high-energy, hard-working, focused, independently driven, self-motivated, and with a passion for Snap’s mission
