Description:

The Director of Operations will oversee the guest experience across all Snap’s markets, including Austin, Dallas, Houston, and Philadelphia through direct oversight and supervision of the field/market level management. This position will ensure meaningful plans for penetration across all Snap Kitchen channels while ensuring that our teams provide guests with an incredible experience, whether they are encountering Snap Kitchen via one of our retail shops, through our iOS app or through our delivery solution. The Director of Operations creates and executes a competitive strategy for success and seeks out and develops a high performing team of talented individuals to exceed guest expectations at every opportunity. This position should expect to be in the field at least 70% of the time and reports directly to Chief Marketing & Brand Experience Officer. Key Responsibilities • Lead Market General Managers (MGM) and District General Managers (DGM) to ensure all markets are delivering results and hitting targets. • Translates the organization’s strategic goals into field level operational plans. • Regular field and market visits where the D.O. will assess progress toward KPI’s, review talent needs, and resolve any roadblocks that are inhibiting success. • Generates ideas about future initiatives to ensure a cutting-edge strategy; maintains up to date knowledge of the market place, competitors and trends. • Takes the lead role in building a strong sales management culture within the operations team; spends time coaching MGM/DGM’s, identifies skills and opportunities for development; provides advice and guidance on operational challenges when needed. • Collaborates closely with the HR Team to ensure people management issues are satisfactorily resolved and relevant HR policies and procedures are adhered to. Chairs disciplinary, grievance, and appeals as required. • Grows digital mix of sales by championing the Snap Kitchen meal planning and delivery products. • Instills a mindset of unfailing, dynamite service and “owner mentality”, ensuring Snap retail shops nail the fundamentals!
