Description:

We are hiring a highly motivated, analytical leader who has a natural bias toward empowering the business with data to support decision-making and achieve company-wide financial goals. The Director of FP&A will oversee the analysis of financial results and the financial planning and budgeting process of the company. This is a high visibility role with the opportunity to make a big impact on our organization! This position reports directly to the Vice President of Finance & Accounting. Key Responsibilities • Analyze and review weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance. Highlight trends and track potential risks and opportunities for the year. • Lead the preparation of the month-end financial package that is shared with Snap Kitchen’s Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team. • Partner with operations in periodic review of financial performance and develop reports that help them meet their financial goals. • Lead the annual budget process and annual long-range planning process. • Provide support and preparation across all Board of Directors meetings. • Prepare ad-hoc models and analysis to support operational and strategic business decisions (e.g. real estate decisions, promotion/discount strategy, menu mix optimization, marketing ROI, pricing, etc.).

Requirements:

Who You Are • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other quantitative discipline. • 5-10 years finance/accounting experience, with a minimum of 3 in developing budgets, models, and financial analysis. • Seasoned thought leader with a palpable passion and curiosity for analytics • Avid student of changing industry requirements and the metrics that drive results • Solid understanding of the overall planning function. • Extensive knowledge of financial statements. • Experience using financial systems and business reporting tools. • Advanced Excel experience: comfort with complex spreadsheets and large data sets, building financial models. • Proficiency in PowerPoint: experience presenting complex analysis to senior leaders (need to be able to “tell the story” and provide recommendations). • Experience leading teams and leading projects (even if no direct people leader experience). • Experience in creating and automating dashboards, standard reports, scorecards, ad-hoc reports, and data visualizations that provide key business insights. • Ability to work independently and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. • Attention to detail to ensure highest level of quality in reports and analysis. • Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical abilities. • High tolerance for ambiguity and complexity, and efficient with limited resources. • Intellectual curiosity and passion to drive results through data-driven decisions. • Experience in a high-growth, dynamic environment a strong positive. • A collaborative team player – concerned with the team’s success as well as individual performance. • Self-starter with high energy levels. • Pro communicator! • “Snappy” (Positive and Enthusiastic). • Resourceful.
