Position Summary We are currently seeking an entry-level business intelligence analyst to uncover areas the product organization and company should focus on to improve gross margins and topline revenue. You will own methodologies for collecting, analyzing, synthesizing and communicating findings to business owners. The position will be based in Austin, TX. To succeed in this role, you should be a self-starter, and can quickly assess the data available and gaps to fill in order to provide a clear picture of the health of the organization with input from business owners. Key Accountabilities • Review and validate customer, transactional, and operational data as it is collected • Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies • Analyze data to identify trends and synthesize in way that is easy to understand for the entire company • Provide recommendations based on data trends uncovered when possible • Implement new data analysis methodologies • Monitor analytics and metrics results • Ensure integrity of data collection and utilization • Oversee the deployment of data to the data warehouse • Develop policies and procedures for the collection and analysis of data • Create or discover new data procurement and processing programs • Cooperate with IT department to deploy software and hardware upgrades that make it possible for us to leverage big data use cases

Requirements:

• Working on a bachelor's or master’s degree in business, management, accounting, economics, statistics, information science or similar. • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities with tight deadlines • Aptitude for the right visualization of data for quick analysis • Demonstrable examples of projects reflecting aptitude for business analysis Preferred Skills: • Experience with Looker or similar BI software solution
