POSITION SUMMARY The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities, while also nurturing customer contacts for the purpose of maintaining the customer relationship and driving referral business. This position will rapidly acquire new, major account clients by presenting the PeopleMatter’s product offering and competitive advantages. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to be a key member of a high growth, dynamic and innovative company. The Regional Sales Manager reports to the CEO and will work with Sales Engineers and Business Development Representatives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Sell products and services to an assigned geographic base territory ranging in size from $60k to $300k+ per deal • Develop a deep knowledge of and present PeopleMatter’s product offerings and competitive advantages • Ability to articulate a customized value proposition to two very different audiences: HR and C-Level Execs • Identify new business opportunities by creating and implementing territory campaigns • Develop strategic plan to identify, penetrate and close key accounts • Develop a thorough understanding of each account’s industry and business • Design and deliver presentations highlighting the products offered by PeopleMatter • Create and maintain accounts in Salesforce, both current and potential • Log and track all activity in Salesforce • Sell products via GoToMeeting and Telephone • Use understanding of internal processes and resources to effectively execute the sale • Travel: 35%, for occasional trade shows and client visits • All other duties as assigned • Live and promote PeopleMatter values, brand and mission

Requirements:

• College degree or equivalent experience • Five or more years experience positioning, selling and/or implementing complex technology and/or software solutions. Preference given to those with experience selling SaaS/PaaS • Proven success and track record in creating effective sales strategies that meet and exceed sales quotas • Domain expertise in the Human Capital Management space is a plus • Positive and professional demeanor • Excellent communication skills with the ability to propose clear, compelling and value-focused solutions • Good business acumen, experience with basic contracts and pricing • Excellent time-management skills with the discipline to handle multiple tasks and adapt quickly to change in a fast paced environment • Experience utilizing sales tracking tools
