Description:

An assistant manager at Oasis Stop ‘N Go is essentially a store manager in training and will, under the direction of the store manager and company leadership, learn many of the tasks and responsibilities that the store manager performs. The assistant manager supports the store manager and fills in for the store manager in their absence, fulfilling the duties and requirements as outlined in the store manager job description. Job Duties: • Exhibits excellence in customer service • Report to work on time and follow uniform policies • Enter all sales in Passport at the time of sale • Brew coffee, stock dispensed beverages and supplies • Maintain cleanliness of the interior building • Check in vendor deliveries • Complete daily paperwork • Restock shelves and coolers • Maintain the cleanliness of exterior building, fuel pumps, parking lot • Prepare and stock fast food items • Be knowledgeable about, follow and enforce all company policies • Staffing & scheduling activities • Coach and develop employees • Maintain strong vendor relations • Maintain and enhance site image, always looking for opportunities to make a positive first impression • Timely implementation and execution of all company programs • Provide feedback on adding, deleting or improving company programs and policies • Training & store communication • Sales floor presentation • Inventory, cash and expense control • Accept responsibility for store performance Essentail Skills and Requirements: • Time & organizational management • Problem solving • Strong oral & written communication • Computer experience • Must be 19 years of age to sell alcohol • Must be available to work any shift • Minimum 3 months experience in customer service associate role or equivalent retail. • Background check is required. • Uniform is required and provided at no cost.
