We run on FUELS -- Fun, Unique, Excellence, Loyalty, and Service. Care to join us? We’re looking for an outgoing, energetic individual to represent us in the community and on local campuses. This position is designed to create a Woodstock’s presence throughout the campus and community. The person we hire must have a creative, marketing mindset, constantly looking for opportunities to increase sales for Woodstock’s. Our ideal candidate has a sense of fun, and the self-confidence to engage with leaders in the corporate world. The right person will be motivated by earning commissions based on performance, and by seeing Woodstock’s increase its sales and profitability. Importantly, we need a team player who can get along with people both in and outside our store. As we develop our beverage program, it would be great to find someone who is passionate about craft beers and wines. Accountability This position will be managed by the store’s General Manager. In addition, there will be monthly calls, training and communications with the Director of Business Development in Admin. Specific Duties: Outside Sales -Look for opportunities to sell pizza at events, meetings, parties, etc. A primary focus should be on catered events and group orders. -Maintain your database with all contacts, proposals, activities, opportunities, potential contacts, sponsorships, etc., with appropriate, candid follow-up notes on positive and negative aspects. -Go on campus at least one day a week, targeting student groups, faculty and staff. In-store Promotions -Meet with beer and wine reps to ensure a comprehensive line-up of great local beverages and develop cross-promotion strategies. -Create in-store promotions, theme nights and fundraisers (see below). In-Store Events -Monitor what’s going on in the community, and talk with people in our target market about what they’d like to see in the way of events at Woodstock’s. Create a schedule of events and communicate it via signage, flyers, social media and other digital communications. Market events to community and campus. -Analyze events for guest satisfaction, areas for improvement and profitability. Sponsorships, Fundraisers and Working with Customers -Announce all fundraisers on social media. -Bring all feedback, both positive and negative, to the attention of the GM and create appropriate responses to customers. -Call ahead and Call back all deferred orders and group reservations. Outside Event Representation -Look for opportunities to be a presence at community and campus events. These may entail selling product, or they may be strictly promotional to build our brand awareness. Advertising -Monitor advertising for distribution and effectiveness. Provide feedback to Admin office. -Refer all advertising “opportunities” to Admin marketing team. Social Media -Post on social media at least 3 times a week, including video and pictures. -Take pictures of groups, large orders, fun events in store and post on social media. Hours -40 hours per week. At least 8 hours per week should be during the 8-5 timeframe. -Weekends and evenings as needed. Be available for all major group functions and outside events that you have helped to set up.
