Job description: Reports to the Division Leader. Responsible for interacting with customers by taking and receiving orders, processing payment, and responding to whatever the customer needs. Ensure customer receives the best service while at the Blue Badger Grill. Grill Associate Responsibilities: • Greet and welcome guests to the restaurant. Creating a sense of welcome and personalized service excellence for the guest. • Interact with customers by taking and receiving orders, processing payment, and responding to whatever the customer needs. • Basic Math skills, able to make change quickly and accurately. • Ensure customer receives the best service. • Display an active presence in public areas, interacting with guests. • Monitor resources, ensuring the tools are available to deliver services that meet and exceed guest expectations. • Communicate all customer concerns and comments to the Shift Leader to ensure best experience. • Follow company guidelines and procedures and maintain excellent Customer Service Standards. • Keep cashier area clean and organized. • Make sure grill area is presented in way consistent with our mission. • Ensure kitchen completes orders in a timely manner and delivers them to customer. • Confirm with customer that everything has exceeded their expectation. • Protect the assets of the company. Non-Essential Functions: • Maintain a clean, safe, organized and well-stocked restaurant to ensure restaurant is presentable. • Clean all areas of the restaurant i.e.: including but not limited to, stockroom, kitchen area, ensure all areas are properly clean, sanitized and presentable to guests at all times. • Keep inventory of supplies. • Wear appropriate uniform, footwear, name tag and maintain cleanliness of the uniform. • Communicate effectively with Leader any customer concerns, complaints, product requests, etc. • Must be able to work as an integral part of a team, assisting and communicating effectively with with co-workers and guests.
Requirements
• Ability to lift heavy items, ranging from 25 to 50 lbs, and operate equipment, cash registers, etc. • Excellent customer service, communication, and math skills. • Ability to comprehend and follow all company procedures and regulations regarding food handling and sanitation. • A courteous and efficient approach to handling customer requests, questions, and complaints. • Attention to detail is essential • Ability to work as a team and contribute to a smoothly flowing experience for all customers • Ability to spend an extended period working in a standing position. • Wear appropriate uniform, footwear, name tag and maintain cleanliness of the uniform. • Communicate effectively with Leader any customer concerns, complaints, product requests, • Must be able to work as an integral part of a team, assisting and communicating effectively with co-workers and guests • Must have efficient multi-tasking and time management skills. Job description: Reports to the Division Leader. Responsible for making sure all food is properly prepared and follow all sanitation and food handling procedures. Ensure that food prepared is presented and delivered to the customer in a timely manner. Provide customer with an enjoyable and delicious meal. Essential Job Functions • Prepare food orders as they come in. • Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff • Prep food for use on next shift. • Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures • Identify kitchen food needs and pull food from freezer to allow time for thawing. • Notify Kitchen Leader of items needed before the item is completely out. • Follow all menus, menu plating instructions, company guidelines and procedures to maintain food consistency. • Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures • Be knowledgeable & apply the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines when handling food. • Protect the assets of the company Non-Essential Job Functions • Efficiently and accurately prepare, package and label products for sale to customers. • Ensure all coolers, freezers and preparation areas are clean and set up in advance for deliveries. • Quickly unload incoming shipments and neatly stock them in their designated areas without damaging merchandise. • Keep inventory of supplies. • Wear appropriate uniform, footwear, name tag and maintain cleanliness of the uniform. • Communicate effectively with Leader any customer concerns, complaints, product requests, etc. • Must be able to work as an integral part of a team, assisting and communicating effectively with with co-workers and guests
Requirements
Must be self-motivated, organized, maintain a positive attitude and professional behavior. Must possess excellent communications and presentation skills. Displays initiative and requires minimal supervision. Must be able to walk, stoop, bend and stand for a long period of time during his or her shift and lift to 50 pounds.
