Bartender: As a bartender at Tucanos, you will bring the fun and festivity of Rio de Janeiro to our guests, using your friendly, upbeat personality as well as your ability to create made-to-order, hand crafted alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. You will have the opportunity to assist and guide your guests in making food and beverage selections that will enhance their dining experience. You will also work with state-of-the-art point of sale systems to ensure that orders are correctly entered, processed and closed out. In addition to guest relations, you will be responsible for communicating with front and back-of-the-house team members to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. You will also maintain accountability for all aspects of the bar area including setting up and stocking product for each shift, maintaining storage areas, and cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining all equipment, utensils and tools, implementing inventory controls, and abiding by all liquor laws and regulations.

You will work in a courteous, efficient and timely manner with a team to clear and reset tables, to maintain a clean and orderly environment throughout the restaurant, and to support other team members in providing outstanding guest service. You will demonstrate a polite and friendly attitude towards guests, wait staff and management.

Dishwasher As a dishwasher at Tucanos, you will ensure the finest personal care of our guests by providing a proper supply of clean dishware, utensils, and glassware for the dining room as well as by cleaning all cooking utensils, pots, and pans for the kitchen staff. You will assist in making sure that the restaurant operates smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. You will work with a team to ensure that all items are stocked throughout the shift and to complete all side work, including sweeping, mopping, removing trash as well as performing other housekeeping or kitchen prep tasks as assigned.

Additional responsibilities include interacting with guests and vendors on the phone, communicating and relaying messages to team members, and assisting with the duties of servers, bussers and other team members as necessary.
