Description:

Provide leadership and supervision of multiple restaurants (typically 5+ restaurants) in a geographic area. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Prepares annual operating budget to achieve company profit objectives. Analyzes results and provides feedback, comparisons, direction, and / or counsel to restaurant management in generating sales and maximizing profits. Directly manages Restaurant Managers and holds them accountable to their job description. Develops high potential Restaurant Managers to readiness for promotions. Provides one-on-one tutoring, role modeling, developmental job assignments, and guided self-study to develop General Managers. Recommends qualified Restaurant Managers to Owners for promotional opportunities through Career Path. Conducts and contributes effectively to meetings. Is prepared for meetings. Settles all employee complaints, conflicts and grievances that cannot be resolved at a lower level. Investigates and settles security and cash violations with corporate office. Selects and promotes qualified candidates to open Restaurant Manager Positions within the area. Works closely with new Restaurant Manager to develop their technical and managerial skills. Assists Restaurant Managers in marketing their local restaurants by providing training and liaison support with Marketing. Evaluates area restaurant operations including, but not limited to, appearance of facilities and staff, employee relations, adherence to company policies & procedures and the Trinity Restaurant Group West Operations Manual. Makes visits to all restaurant locations in area and does random or periodic, unannounced inspections as deemed necessary. Supervises new unit openings in assigned area. Interviews / Selects outside hires per company guidelines Conducts Cash Audits. Sign off on all Employee/Management Schedules Verify Certification of all restaurant programs Sign off on all Orientation Paperwork Area Leader personally contacts all Guest complaints and resolves issues Responsible for effective vertical and horizontal communications within the area. This includes area-wide or company-wide news of interest, upcoming events, new facilities, promotions, products, developments “Best Practices” among peers, etc. Responsible for ensuring open channels for employee suggestions to move upward and for replies to return promptly Responsible for the effective implementation of TRG/restaurant's commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity without regard to race, sex, religion, national origin, veteran status or handicap and for ensuring a harassment free environment for all employees and customers CORE COMPETENCIES Customer Focus Responsive to customer. Exigences:

Education, Experience required: High School degree or equivalent. Must have demonstrated the satisfactory ability to perform, under supervision, a significant number of multi-unit job duties characteristic of the District Manager position.Must present evidence of highly developed interpersonal skills including communication, confrontation, conflict resolution, team building and leadership.
