Based at the Home Office in Downtown Los Angeles in a family-like environment. Supply Chain Manager Job Summary: The Supply Chain Manager will play a pivotal role in our Purchasing department. This position is tasked with working with the purchasing team on tasks and projects which contribute to the growth and development of the key areas stated below. As the Supply Chain Manager, you are responsible for exemplifying the company culture as well as; • Lead in sourcing of LTO ingredients during development stages as required by set deadlines • Managing distributor inventories for core ingredients • Vetting and auditing ingredient sources on a rotating schedule • Analyzing opportunities for bid proposals or sourcing improvement based on quality, cost and availability • Assisting in purchasing-related problem solving at the distributor level • Participating as the lead in special projects where procurement direction is provided and administered • Making regularly scheduled visits to the field in order to promote awareness and communication • Being the key point of contact for the Purchasing Department with related aspects towards new store openings and expansion • Will mostly work from the Home Office with occasional on-site visits to vendors to assist in purchasing related research and development along with audits. (Frequency of up to two times per week.) • Assisting in developing manufacturer contracts for goods and services where necessary • Develop and work with the Sr. Director of Purchasing to maintain all standards as described in the Sustainability Basecamp We challenge ourselves, and each other, to be the best. Desired experience for this position include; • Prior restaurant operations and purchasing experience, prefer 3+ years • Curiosity to seek out continuous learning opportunities • High level of resourcefulness and initiative, be a results-oriented individual • Strong, positive interpersonal skills as well as excellent communication skills (written and oral) • Ability to work as a team member • Extremely proficient in MS Office Suite and Google Docs • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills • Proactive and resourceful in solving problems, detail oriented and energetic • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of confidentiality Abilities include: • Lifting/carrying files and papers up to 30 pounds • Some bending/kneeling required • Stationary, seated position • Some driving required Additional details: Average 40 hour/week.
