Responsibilities • Completes all opening and closing duties thoroughly & accurately including setting up and taking down the member food and beverage bar • Clean fitness areas including equipment and maintains areas throughout the shift including restocking the member food and beverage bar • Checks for and reports any deficiencies and/or maintenance concerns to Fitness Manager and puts in maintenance work order • Answers phones making appointments for the spa as necessary • Completes all charges from the day and ensures that the paperwork is delivered to the accounting department • Attends staff meetings • Completes any other tasks as assigned by the Fitness & Spa Manager

Transfer calls to another area in the club. • Takes special event reservations and keeps the reservation book updated and organized • Type lunch and dinner menus for the ala carte dining rooms. • Assess needs of Members and Guests and refer them to the appropriate services available. • Accommodate Members and Guests with all Concierge Services. • Communicates to membership via fax and telephone. • Assist Administrative staff with miscellaneous clerical work, including but not limited to word processing, data entry, and internet research tasks. • Sign for deliveries and notify department for pick-up • Orchestrate the pick-up of FedEx packages. • Create reader board signs for the Catering Department • Update and distribute the internal phone list bi-monthly Hostess responsibilities: • Places members’ reservations to a table assignment before seating begins. • Greets and seats Members and Guests as they arrive. • Ensures all food and wine menus are current and ready to be distributed to the members/guests. • Distributes menus after printing on a bi-weekly basis. • Communicates take-out orders to the kitchen after receiving them from the membership. • Promptly turns in orders to the kitchen, clarifying special instructions. • Updates members on current events and stays up-to date on activities around the club. • Informs supervisor of any member comments/complaints. • Responds to members who do not follow the appropriate dress code and finds appropriate alternatives to all situations. • Checks all areas for cleanliness—including menus, tables, floors, lights, and chairs-correct any faults immediately. Assures the correct appearance, cleanliness and safety of the dining room and host stand areas, equipment and fixtures. Reports deficiencies and maintenance concerns to management. • Maintains knowledge of computer system (Jonas) related to ringing in checks. • Checks in/out with a supervisor at the beginning and end of every shift. • Make management aware when supplies are needed. • Attendance and punctuality are critical due to the impact on other positions and departments. • Attends all scheduled staff meetings. • All other duties as assigned.

A member of the outside staff is the first point of contact with a member and their guests. Essential Job Functions: • Dust all furniture, ceiling fan blades, light fixtures, columns, railings, etc. • Stocks cleaning cart and keep carts wiped down from the dirt • Notifies manager when supplies are getting low or equipment is in need of replacement • Maintains a neat, tidy, organized appearance of all club facilities • Cleans mirrors & glass tabletops • Vacuums carpet, sweep/mop floors • Sweeps patio area and dust all patio furniture • Empties all wastebaskets • Cleans walls, doorknobs, light switches, baseboards floors, and window sills • Disinfects telephones • Cleans inside and outside of windows • Clean and sanitizes toilets • Cleans sinks and fixtures • Wipes down shower walls and curtain (in Locker Rooms) (employee/pool restrooms) • Restocks towels, washcloths, soap, and other supplies and amenities • Wash, dry, and fold laundry. • Reports any damage or plumbing problems to the maintenance department. • Attends department meetings as requested • Cleans and polishes all stainless steel, soap, sunscreen, and lotion dispensers • Works outside that could be in adverse environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, and rain) • All other duties as assigned.
