Isleworth - Fitness Attendant Part Time Responsible for service in the manner most pleasing to members and their guests. Assures the highest standards are met in: appearance, hospitality, professionalism and service. Responsible for the cleanliness of all fitness rooms, treatment rooms & common areas. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Displays the highest standards in: work ethic, performance, appearance, attitude & demeanor in all interactions with Members & staff alike. • Interfaces with all departments in the Club to ensure a seamless experience for members & guests. • Checks fitness areas for cleanliness- including, machines, floors, countertops & equipment - correct any faults immediately. • Attends staff meetings listens to all information communicated. • Maintains areas throughout the shift. Makes sure all supplies are fully stocked & ready for use. • Responsible for full knowledge of equipment. • Answers phones & takes reservations as necessary. • Greets members and guests by name whenever possible. • Informs supervisor of any & all Member comments/ complaints. • Completes all opening & closing duties thoroughly & accurately. • Charges Members guest fees & ensures paperwork gets to Accounting. • Checks out with a supervisor at the end of every shift- when applicable. • Receives and resolves complaints concerning fitness & resolves these complaints to the best of his/ her ability. • Assures the correct appearance, cleanliness and safety of fitness areas, equipment and fixtures. Reports deficiencies and maintenance concerns to management. • Makes management aware when supplies are needed. • Completes any other tasks as assigned by the Fitness & Spa Manager
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends & holidays.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Operates powered equipment in mowing specified golf course areas including: putting greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and resort ground turf areas. 2. Performs routine bunker maintenance and/or bunker renovation. 3. Performs a variety of labor duties including: Sting trimming, edging, pruning, top-dressing, hazard maintenance, divot repair, and drainage tasks. 4. Maintains ball washers, coolers, trash cans, and tee markers. 5. Operates mechanical loaders in moving soil, debris, and other materials. 6. Participate as support staff on any special projects. 7. Report any and all abnormalities on the golf course. 8. Support other departments as needed and as opportunities arise. MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Comply with Isleworth Golf & Country Club policies and procedures. 2. Communicate daily with staff and other departments in regard to duties and activities. 3. Responsible for department and equipment cleanliness, safety and appearance. 4. Respond to any reasonable task requested by GM.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Golf course grounds or landscaping experience preferred. Ability to work effectively with others.

Verifies identification of persons who aren’t recognized by face •Inspects the safety, cleanliness and preparedness of the assignment (gatehouse, patrol vehicle or boat) prior to accepting the post •Reviews all hard or electronic communications regarding events/activities which are scheduled during shift •Reviews and responds to all communications regarding gate access •Maintains an accurate and complete log of all gate access and any items left at the gate (mail, packages, keys, etc.) •Provides traffic enforcement and control of vehicles entering , leaving or driving within Isleworth (in accordance with the Isleworth traffic regulations) •Investigates and reports any incidents that affect the safety and security of persons or property within Isleworth. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • The Tennis Professional will provide private and group lessons to juniors, ladies and men. • Develop with Director of Tennis a comprehensive program for adults and juniors including competitive and recreational activities. • Run/coach ladies’ team practice • Administer the Ladies’ teams by supervising the Captain’s Council, its rules and regulations and all team tennis related issues. • Run and organize tournament and events, promote all programs • Help members with Tennis Shop sales • String rackets, communicate with the Director of Tennis regarding program status and strategies for growth • Teach exclusively using 10 and Under USTA guidelines for juniors 4-12 years old • Assist with minor court maintenance on our 6 clay courts and one hard court • Serve as Tournament Director for Club Championships, Socials and any special events.
Essential Qualifications: • Must have a at least four (4) years experience in a private club setting • Must have the latest education that will allow you to design the teaching curriculum for the Club. • Must be a USPTA Elite Professional or higher. • Must be a minimum 5.0 player. • Must have a 4 year degree. • Must be able to work independently and exercise good judgment. • Must be service oriented. • Must be able to maintain good relations with other employees, supervisors and members. • Must be computer literate and efficient in Microsoft Office Suite. • Must be able to effectively communicate in English (read, write, and speak).
