Isleworth Golf & Country Club the 29th Platinum Club of the World, is currently seeking an, energetic professional to join our Food & Beverage team. The Pool Supervisor will be responsible for service in the manner most pleasing to members and their guests. This position assures a high standard of hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of dining rooms, meeting rooms, bars & ballroom. Key Responsibilities: •Leads by example in work ethic, performance, appearance demeanor & all interactions with Members & staff alike •Interfaces with all departments in the Club to ensure a seamless experience for members & guests •Communicates daily with managers to ensure everyone is informed & consistent on issues related to policies, employees, functions, set-ups, etc. •Develops and continually updates a training manual. Maps out a specific & thorough training program for new hires complete with tests that need to be passed before being able to go on the floor. Provides on-going training for all service staff on a regular basis •Organizes floor plans for dining room & banquet events •Carefully supervises dining room & banquet staff to help assure proper service; jumping in when necessary •Inspects dining room & banquet employees to ensure that they are in complete, proper and clean uniforms at all times •Participates in wine tastings, provides input & feedback related to revising the wine list, involved in planning & execution of wine dinners •Maintains proper pars where alcohol & bar items are concerned. Assist with monthly beverage inventory •Directs pre-meal meetings with dining room personnel. Relays information and policy changes and briefs personnel •Assures that all side work is accomplished and that all cleaning of equipment and storage areas is completed according to schedule. •Assures that the dining room and other club areas of responsibility are secure at the end of the business day •Takes reservations and checks table reservation schedules •Performs table checks in a la carte dining – talking to Members, inquiring about the quality of food, service & overall dining experience •Is aware of the Monthly Calendar of Events in Banquets, knows what is coming up and plans accordingly (staffing levels, scheduled start times, etc.) •Reads BEO’s daily and is prepared to answer Member inquiries such as room locations, start times, etc. •Performs duties related to payroll- turning in time sheet reports •Receives and resolves complaints concerning food, beverages and service. •Makes suggestions about improvements in dining room service procedures •Participates in physical inventories of service items. •Monitors dining room labor and makes adjustments as necessary to achieve financial goals & meet Member needs •Assists in service as needed •Attends F & B meetings as necessary Will oversee the pool operation.
Qualifications: Previous experience in a high-end Club, resort or hotel operation. Minimum 2-years experience in a supervisory role. Isleworth Golf and Country Club is an 18-hole private facility located Southwest of Orlando. Ranked 26th on the Platinum Clubs of the World list, we are home to many PGA, LPGA, and Senior Tour players. We pride ourselves in providing tournament conditions on a daily basis to our members and their guest. We are amidst of a three year project to renovate our golf course and irrigation system, working with the well-respected golf course architect Steve Smyers. In 2024, our golf course will undergo a total greens and bunker renovation, turf replacement of tees, fairways and rough, and implementation of naturalized areas to reduce turf and conserve water. We are seeking a experienced Landscape Foreman to lead our 12 man team to handle all aspects of our 30 acres of Golf Course Landscape.
