Bakery Clerks work in our Bakery Department, preparing, baking, packaging, pricing and merchandising cakes, pies, rolls, muffins, breads and other baked goods. Bakery Clerks interact with customers and answer any questions about our bakery products and services. Bakery Clerks work with equipment like ovens, proofers, mixers, etc. Bakery Clerks are responsible for working closely with the Store Manager, Department Managers and Bakery Manager to ensure the success of the store and department through excellent customer service and a demonstrated passion for food. The Bakery Clerk will be personally dedicated to creating a warm, inviting & friendly environment for our customers and other team members. The Receiver oversees inventory control for all departments in the backroom receiving area by inspecting, counting and recording all merchandise received by the store. Receivers must comply with procedures for receiving all products entering the store including verifying actual product against invoices, confirming product integrity and checking product temperatures as needed. If discrepancies in the receiving process arise (defective product, incorrect invoice, etc.), then the receiver must resolve those issues in accordance with company policies. They must initial and code invoices, log invoices and make sure received product is distributed to appropriate departments. Receivers are responsible for keeping the backroom receiving area clean & organized.
