SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist the Banquet Manager in preparing banquet and meeting rooms for events.
Set up and break down event spaces according to guest and event specifications, including moving and arranging tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, and other equipment.
Ensure meeting rooms and ballrooms are properly supplied with water service, linens, and necessary materials.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in all event and storage areas.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure all event details are completed accurately and on schedule.
Comply with all cleanliness and safety standards as required by The Groton Inn, OSHA, and local health regulations.
Report any maintenance issues, broken equipment, or unsafe conditions promptly.
