Food Runner Working at Punch Bowl Social is about being yourself and making people happy. We’re seeking exceptional candidates to join our service team who are friendly, energetic and highly motivated who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant environment. What are we looking for? The good news is that your training will teach you everything you need to know to succeed on the job. But there are a few skills you should have from the get-go: • You're a fun and friendly person who values customers and takes pride in everything you do • Communication skills are key – you should be comfortable talking to strangers • You've got attitude (the right kind of course) and understand the need to be on time • You understand that work is easier – and more fun – with some teamwork • Ideally you’ve spent some time working in a high-volume restaurant/bar The management team takes the current Covid-19 situation very seriously and has implemented additional safety and health guidelines to protect staff and guests. All teammates are required to wear masks during shifts and while in the restaurant. All kitchen staff must wear gloves and masks during shifts. We look forward to meeting you soon! Servers will rotate food running shifts -Runs food to Guests in all areas of the restaurant including bar -Mentions the dish name and 2 key ingredients whenever a dish is dropped -Uses open-armed service to deliver all dishes -Only runs a maximum of two plates at any time -Runs food using the “Trails not Trays” practice -Helps to restock expo line plate ware, condiments, etc. -Does not clear or bus tables *Does not take tables/ guest orders If a Guest requests (anything that needs to be rung in), FR will communicate with Server. If the request is something the FR can accommodate, they will execute the request themselves.
