Description:

The District Manager with Roy Rogers Restaurants is responsible for providing leadership and support to the management teams at each location to ensure the highest quality service and business is given to our loyal customers. This individual will monitor the restaurants’ revenue, operations, guest satisfaction and profitability. They will be familiar with business concepts, practices, and procedures of Roy Rogers and will rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The District Manager is also responsible for maintaining and supporting the general operating philosophies and policies of Roy Rogers Restaurants, as well as assisting other departments as necessary to achieve the overall mission of the Roy Rogers brand. Residence in the following counties preferred: Loudoun County, VA Prince William County, VA Warren County, VA Frederick County, VA

Requirements:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Leads the General Managers in assigned district to maintain and exceed a standard of excellence in guest services. - Develops and administers action plans to achieve operational and financial objectives. - Monitors trends in sales and profitability and adjusts plans accordingly to meet or exceed budgeted targets and improve flow through. - Facilitates communication among corporate staff, field personnel and unit level management. - Emulates and inspires our mission statement and values daily in associate and guest interactions. - Proactively communicates any material developments in a timely manner to the Director of Operations. - Ensures security and safety policies and procedures are in place. - Oversees compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations; including health department standards. - Recruits, trains, and develops managers; assesses performance on regular basis; ensures staffing levels are adequate for business needs. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: - High school diploma; college preferred; 5 years of progressive experience. - Team player, willing to take a proactive approach to the administration of day-to-day office business. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. - Manage staff at multiple locations. - Independent thinker, able to make decisions based upon information gathered from appropriate resources. - Ability to function with minimal direct supervision. - Ability to perform the physical aspects of the job including sitting, bending, climbing, standing, reaching and walking for up to 90% of the workday and lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs. - Must possess a valid driver’s license, proper insurance coverage, and a clean driving record for business related travel.
