Description:

We are seeking a Facilities Manager to join the Service Department at Pappas Restaurants. The Facilities Manager is responsible for the management of strategic upgrades to existing facilities. They will manage service operations and service teams that include fabrication shops, warehouse, and equipment. They will prepare and oversee project budgets and timelines. Responsibilities • Implements and manages plan for upgrades to existing facilities. • Manages, schedules, budgets, and assigns team design responsibilities for existing facilities. • Manages fabrication shops, warehouse, equipment and coordinates projects and deliveries including purchasing of equipment and materials for projects. • Coordinates details to team members with shop drawings (carpentry, metal, paint, upholstery, and HVAC. • Establishes and manages project budget, timelines, and schedules. • Manages service operations and service teams including installation, construction, and HVAC technicians. • Coordinates projects with the Design Group.

Requirements:

• Positive and professional leader with experience coaching and developing a team • Bachelor’s Degree preferred • 5+ years’ experience in commercial HVAC design, installation, and duct work • 5+ years project management experience • 5+ years management/supervisor experience • Experience in facility management for a multi-unit retail company • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Ability to read and interpret drawings • Proficient managing an operating a budget • Expert in managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong results/goal orientation • Outstanding collaboration and leadership skills • Proven ability to lead teams, build trust, and empower people • Analytical and excels at problem solving • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • A valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record • Ability to travel overnight as needed • Experience working with Zendesk a plus
