Specific Responsibilities • Operates assigned rides in accordance with company policy and procedure, state and federal regulations / safety protocols. • Explains and enforces ride rules and safety regulations. Enforces ride restrictions (height/size) as required. • Monitors all aspects of assigned rides operation while prepared to act if needed.. • Assists Guests in and out ride vehicles in a safe manner. • Responsible for completing opening / closing checklists. • Responsible for communicating any concerns or challenges with a ride to the appropriate supervisor. • Ensures emergency matters are brought to the Supervisors attention immediately. • Cooperates with area supervisors to ensure the safety of personnel and Guests. • Assists Guests with inquiries and always maintain positive Guest relations. • Provides first aid assistance and materials as needed, notifies emergency personnel. • Maintains an acceptable level of cleanliness and organization in immediate and surrounding work areas. • Responsible for cleaning rides and attractions along with the surrounding areas. • Assist rides management and maintenance with ride breakdowns and evacuations. • Performs other duties as required. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required • Must be 16 years of age or older. • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. • Must be able to climb stairs, ladders and work in elevated positions. • Must be able to lift / push up to 50lbs. • Must be extroverted and able to enthusiastically engage others. • Ability to ensure Guest satisfaction and handle Guest concerns. • Excellent verbal communication skills. • Available to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. • Ability to complete simple math, read and comprehend instructions, policies / procedures. • Ability to retain information and make decisions. • Ability to handle multiple tasks with effective follow-through. • Ability to see, hear, speak clearly and write legibly. • Ability to have full dexterity to be able to grip small items and agility with the ability to work and maneuver in tight spaces and climb ladders. • Ability to stoop, bend, squat, grip small objects and push or pull heavy objects. Duties may be performed in a high noise level environment and involve standing for long periods of time.

You will spend the summer patrolling the park and at our main gates checking everything from Guests’ bags to employee badges. You will protect our people and our property – all while securing valuable experience and rewarding benefits. Specific Responsibilities • Interact with Guests providing directions and assistance. • Protect employees, Guests, and company property. • Enforce park policies. • Control park access, checking vehicle permits and scanning ID badges for team members, vendors, and contractors. • Patrol and inspect assigned areas of the park. • Keep unauthorized personnel out of restricted areas. • Greet and screen entering Guests and check their bags for prohibited items. • Rapidly respond to active alarms, first aid, and other emergency situations. • Monitor all areas for safety hazards, including fire, theft, and vandalism. • Maintain ride queue lines, sending line jumpers to the back to ensure an efficient boarding process. • Write detailed reports of damage, incident logs, and security records. • Escort Guests and team members as needed for assistance and protection. Requirements Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required • Must be 18 years or older. • Must have a valid Driver's License. • Able to lift, carry, and balance heavy loads. • Physical qualifications to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout your shift. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work in an environment is fast paced. • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to safety. • Strong attention to detail. • Enforce all park policies and procedures. • Cautious and reliable. • Remain calm in emergency situations.
