View Job Description - Lounge Kitchen Attendant

Summary: The Lounge Kitchen Attendant is responsible for cleaning front and back-of-house areas, assist with basic food preparation, and providing the highest quality of customer service at all times. Essential Functions: •Transports dishes to back-of-house for cleaning, washes dishes and replenishes stock in the front-of-the-house •Unloads, stores, stocks, dates, rotates product throughout work day •Stocks napkins, straws, silverware and condiments •Cleans, sweeps, and mops floors; removes garbage and recycles from the kitchen •Monitors front and back-of-house for cleanliness and newly vacant tables •Clears, cleans and sanitizes tables and seats according to HMSHost and airline standards •May occasionally be required to perform basic food preparation functions (e.g. warming up soup, operate panini press) •Ensures a positive guest experience for all customers


Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment: •Requires ability to multi-task and ability to interact with customers and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner •Requires ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in interactions with premium clientele •Requires ability to maintain a presentable and polished appearance in keeping with service standards for premium clientele •Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds •Requires the ability to walk, bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions •Frequently immerses hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions
