Job Summary: Effective immediately WYMT is accepting applications for a Digital Content Executive Producer. The Digital Content Executive Producer for WYMT produces and maintains content for WYMT.com, the region's most powerful digital platform. Create, significant, original, locally focused stories for all digital platforms with the goal of building our growing audience of loyal, local visitors. Create engaging content on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media platforms that draw viewers to the web and television. Our employees typically move on to Top 40 Markets. We work hard and have fun! Great station! Great company! General Responsibilities: Responsibilities include training and managing a team of content producers and other contributors. Must have experience with breaking news and working on deadline in a fast-paced environment. Must have proven news judgment, a working knowledge of all social media platforms, excellent computer and Internet skills, competency in web image editing, good web and mobile platform showcasing skills, excellent web writing skills and proficiency in AP style. Participate in the creative development and technical implementation of on-line content for the website. While the emphasis will be on news, this job also requires coordination with other departments by working collaboratively with marketing, technology programming, news and sales departments to meet performance goals.
