Job Summary: KWCH/KSCW is seeking a Morning Anchor/Reporter for our weekday morning shows from 4:30am-9am. You are the right candidate if you bring energy, personality and have strong and ethical news judgment to make our #1 rated show shine on a daily basis! We are dedicated to our community and making sure our viewers are informed about issues that impact their day. If you are passionate about what you do and committed to not only giving viewers news and weather in the mornings but making them smile as they walk out the door, this is your next career move! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Anchor weekday morning newscasts from 4:30am-9:00am • Ability to MMJ and/or work with a photojournalist for weekly stories • Strong live skills including extended breaking news coverage and the ability to ad-lib and improvise effortlessly • Ability to collaborate with producers on how best to story tell using the set, video, graphics and technology • Proven leadership skills working with staff at all levels • Strong ethical news judgment and priority setting • Desire to develop community relationships and promote and attend KWCH sponsored events • Engage your social media following to generate stories, break and promote your work • Critique, feedback and training are all part of the job

Requirements:

•Minimum of 2 years anchoring and reporting experience with the ability to shoot, write and edit •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Ability to work in a team environment and under constant deadlines •Live "on-the-scene" reporting may be required, especially during breaking news and severe weather Please apply online at: https://gray.tv/careers#currentopenings
