Job Summary: We are searching for the next candidate to join our market leading news team as a weekend sports anchor and reporter. The right candidate will have the opportunity to report on local sports from around our area vast area. KFDA, Newschannel10 is home to the new AA Baseball team, The Amarillo Sod Poodles, a feeder into the San Diego Padres, several college and university level teams as well as ice hockey, arena football and much more. Newschannel10 is dedicated to local sports, providing the unique opportunity for our sports department to craft real sports stories, stories about the people, players and fans rather than just regurgitating national sports scores. Your primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Anchor sports segments in a clear, energetic and informative manner • Enterprise ideas to cover local sports and tell interesting stories • Conduct interviews in the field and on-set • Engage with audience on branded social media pages • Ensures that all content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality • Make public appearances on behalf of the station • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements:
