Job Summary: KXII is looking to fill a full time Promotions Assistant position. Duties include promotional writing and development of station image and community service campaigns, creating graphic images and elements for station television/radio. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: • Studio setup • Camera blocking, microphone checks, lighting check, and maintaining studio cleanliness before each newscast • Master control and syndicated show prepping • Promotional writing and development of station image and community service campaigns, and editing promotional spots • A thorough knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and the ability to edit using systems such as Adobe Premiere are required • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Some education or experience in television/radio broadcasting or promotions is preferred • College or technical degrees strongly considered • A thorough knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and the ability to edit using systems such as Adobe Premiere are required • An ability to work well others in a team environment is absolutely mandatory. • Accuracy, attention to detail and a team oriented attitude • Ability to follow precise instructions in a fast paced environment
