About WAVE: WAVE 3 NEWS, the NBC Affiliate in Louisville, KY and Gray Television, the third largest broadcast company in the country is seeking an Account Executive. Job Summary: Do you have a strong competitive drive and determination to win? Are you a natural relationship builder and collaborator, viewed by others as a resource and leader? Does being able to sell The Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Oaks, Preakness, Belmont, Sunday Night NFL, Indy 500 and some of the top news products in the region interest you? If so, we need to talk. Bring your tenacity, great communication skills and ability to prospect for and close new business to WAVE 3 NEWS and get rewarded well for your efforts. You will have the opportunity to sell across all of WAVE 3 NEWS’ television and digital platforms, providing advertising solutions to current and new customers that will help them generate sales and increase profitability. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Generating new business with prospecting, cold calling, presenting, and closing • Maintaining and growing share for current business and providing excellent customer service • Selling across all our platforms; television, digital, promotions and creative services • Building well thought out, strategic advertising plans

Requirements:
