The newscast must be produced in a journalistically and ethically sound manner while maintaining energy and creativity. The Producer must also supervise those news staff members, as assigned, for the production of the newscasts. General Responsibilities: --Oversee news content (on air, online and social networking) --Manage content throughout the week and oversee the planning of newscast stories/interviews --Work with anchors, producers and reporters to be consistent with the KOLO 8 News Now brand --Enforce the strategic plan for on air news and KOLO News Now --Write for newscast, website and social networking --Approve scripts in the newscast --Assist News Director and Executive Producers in providing weekly critiques of staff performance, planning sweeps, and other special projects and duties as assigned

Requirements:
