Job Summary: KXII is looking to fill a full time Director/Technical Director position in our Production Department. Duties include the execution of PM newscasts at 5:00pm, 6:00pm and 10:00p.m., fill in for a.m. newscast when needed. Hours are but not limit to 2p.m. to 11p.m. Tuesday thru Saturday. Possible graphic creation may also be required.

Requirements:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • College education, technical school or comparable experience is mandatory • Some experience directing newscasts is also mandatory • Applications with previous television directing experience will be strongly considered • Good leadership skills and an ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment are required • Experience with VizRT products and on air playback utilizing a server system is a plus
