Job Summary: Position requires maintenance of technical operations, including studio, on-air, news, remote operations, production, power and video/IT systems. The Engineer will support station technical guidelines to assure the proper functioning and maintenance of all technical equipment and systems. The Engineer will work closely with news, creative services, and all other Departments within the station. General Responsibilities: • Reports directly to the Chief Engineer • Working knowledge of computers and networking technologies • Have working knowledge of the latest operating systems software, including server and desktop operating systems • Working knowledge of digital audio/video systems • Working knowledge satellite downlinks, HD up-converter and encoding systems • Interact directly with the end users, including newsroom operations, sales & others all with varying priorities & needs • Must be available to work during breaking news situations, severe weather, new system integrations and updates, and provide on-call services • Maintains building needs

Requirements:
