Visit www.wbtv.com to learn more. Job Summary/Description: WBTV is looking for a creative, aggressive photographer/ MMJ to join its EMMY award-winning morning news team. This is an entry-level position, ideal for someone with some photography and editing experience who is eager to get a foot in the door. A journalism or communication background is a big plus. You must be self-motivated, have good communication skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Primary duties include monitoring scanners, social media, and other sources for news, gathering video, interviews, and information, editing for broadcast and digital/ social platforms, setting up/ executing multiple live shots per shift, and other duties as assigned. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following: - Monitor scanners, social media, and other sources for news - Gather video, interviews, and information for news stories - Edit video for broadcast and digital/ social platforms - Set up and execute multiple live shots per shift - Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

This is a full-time hourly position and will include working overnights, holidays and weekends and some overtime. You must be flexible with scheduling.
