About KGWN: Wyoming News Now is the dominant news source for the both the Casper and Cheyenne-Scottsbluff markets. Job Summary: Wyoming News Now seeks a talented and energetic journalist to join our award-winning teams. We are looking for a qualified Meteorologist who can prepare and deliver weather forecasts and weather information as well as report as an MMJ for our news segments on Wyoming News Now. The person we hire must have a positive attitude and be an ambassador for the station by making personal appearances at community events. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Analyze weather data and prepare detailed forecasts • Prepare graphics to support weather presentation • Conversational On-air presentation • Flexible schedule for severe weather scenarios • Report news stories for our news segments as an MMJ • Post content to website and station social media platforms

Requirements:

• Degree in broadcast journalism • Anchor experience (college experience accepted) • Pre-employment and random drug testing are a condition of employment. • You must possess a valid driver’s license had have a good driving record.
