WIBW-TV was the first television station in NE Kansas and continues to produce the best in news, weather, and sports reporting today. Job Summary: MORNING NEWS PRODUCER. Responsible for producing the 5-7 a.m. news block at #1 station in Capital City. Must be good writer, who can edit, plan and stack each half hour of the morning newscasts. Morning producer must monitor scanners for breaking news and is responsible for calling in on-call reporters for live shots in morning block. Good organizational skills and ability to interact well with anchors. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Writing • Editing • Stacking newscasts • Crew interaction • Election night leader • Web and Social Media inputting

Requirements:
