Description:

Job Duties: • Oversee Kitchen Department Operations • Maintain proper inventory of products in order to meet Customer Service • Place orders for Department products (supplies, Commissary, vendors, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner • Keep accurate control of any large orders placed by Customers (regular, holiday or special events) • Complete Employee schedules to ensure all shifts are covered in order to provide excellent customer service. • Promote and practice safety and follow all procedures to avoid Team Member injuries. • Greet and assist all customers in a friendly manner. • Maintain assigned work area clean at all times (sweep, mop, clear of dirt, etc.) • Maintain a workstation that is organized and stocked. • Assist Cook in preparing food. • And all other assigned job duties. Job Requirements: • Must obey all State and Federal guidelines regarding health and safety policies. • Wear clean complete uniform at all times: black pants, white Vallarta polo shirt, black non-slip shoes, dark socks, hair net/Vallarta hat, and clean apron. • Wear safety glove when using knives. • Wash hands frequently (at least every 20 minutes) with hot water and anti-microbial soap from elbows down for no less than 20 seconds. Follow dress/uniform policy. • Must obey all State and Federal guidelines regarding health and safety policies. Essential Job Duties: • Lift boxes and product ranging between 20 lbs up to 60 lbs • Place boxes/product onto dolly or cart • Push/pull between 30 lbs up to 200 lbs (items on cart/dolly) • Bend/Stoop pick up and or place product below waist level (including shelves and racks) • Place product onto bins and position for sale • Grasp/Grip product to prepare for sales by either cutting or cleaning product • Constant sweeping/pushing broom to pick up debris to keep work area clean • Reaching above shoulder level (cookware placement on shelving/racks in kitchen area) • Place debris/trash/recycle cardboard in respective areas • Will clean and maintain kitchen tables and bins • Wash dishes and pots Physical Requirements: • Lift boxes and product ranging between 20 lbs up to 60 lbs • Place boxes/product onto dolly or cart • Push/pull between 30 lbs up to 200 lbs (items on cart/dolly) • Bend/Stoop pick up and or place product below waist level (including shelves and racks) • Work in varying temperatures (Refrigerators, freezers, stoves, etc.) throughout scheduled shift. Non-essential Job Duties: • Climb ladders to retrieve product on top shelf/cooler.
