The Software Developer II writes, modifies and debugs software for all point of sale (POS) applications. Participates in design and specification of new products. The position tests and documents software for server and client applications. Provides client support for DRB Systems’ products.
• Participates in design of new products and features. • Develops concise specifications and implement features for new products. • Aids in design “proof of concepts” exercises for each project. • Implements quality code according to our approved development methods. • Performs unit-level-test code for quality and functionality. • Submits code for and participates in regular reviews focusing on architecture, styles and standards, and functionality. • Participates in creating work estimates, project schedules, and assessing project risks. • Meets stated milestone dates and deadlines. • Review and approve QA test plans. • Reviews product documentation for technical accuracy. • Works with other departments such as QA and customer support on escalated technical issues. • Interfaces with various types of hardware and third party software programs. • Troubleshoots hardware and software problems. • Evaluates development processes for improvements. • Ability to install, configure and maintain the developer’s own operating system and application software needed to perform job functions. Produce quality, testable code within stated delivery dates. • Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
• Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. 3-5 years of experience, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility in a complex systems engineering environment. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Computer Skills: Proficient in software development techniques, tools, and languages (preferred Delphi, VB, HTML, XML, SQL, C++). Experienced in Windows XP/Server, version control software, change control software, Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of DCOM, sockets, serial communications, multi-tasking, and general networking. Familiar with interfacing with and communicating to hardware such as modems, routers, printers, scanners, wireless handheld devices. Knowledge of the current DRB Systems, Inc. software products (primarily SiteWatch and TunnelWatch). Working knowledge of the above within one year of employment. • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid United States Driver’s license. Must have own personal credit card to use for travel with a minimum of $2,000 credit. Certifications (MCPD, MCSD, MCSE, MCDBA) desired

The Technical Manager will provide management oversight and leadership to the Operational Departments within the company. This will be accomplished by driving service level objectives, process efficiency, overall cost management, operational scalability and employee engagement. This position will be heavily customer and external facing.
What will our Technical Manager, Operations do? • Oversees Daily Operations. Responsible for operational processes and standards to achieve results. • Achieves Performance Metrics. Oversees and monitors scheduling, performance standards and productivity. • Responsible for management functions within the Operations team including performance review, counseling/disciplinary actions, learning/development and other personnel decisions in conjunction with the Human Resources Department. • Ensures high level of customer service. Lead team to deliver results. Be a champion of the customer experience. • Establishes policies and procedures to meet a high quality standards. • Protects assets, control expenses and ensures operating budgets are met. • Performs all other duties as assigned by Management.
The right candidate will have: Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Experience: • Minimum 5+ years related business experience • Minimum 5+ years Contact Center Experience, Technical Support experience preferred • Minimum 3+ years in leadership, supervisory or managerial level experience with an emphasis on employee performance management and development. • Experience in human relations Computer Skills: • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications • Strong proficiency in Windows and PC based applications • Experience in Call Center Technology in a skill-based routing environment preferred Other Requirements: • Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex problems and issues (i.e. technical) • Demonstrated knowledge of the technology industry and general business management • Highly self-motivated with strong project management and problem solving skills. Ability to organize, prioritize and deliver in a fast paced environment. • Superior follow-up and attention to detail skills • Flexibility and ability to work in a dynamic environment • Willingness to occasionally travel by automobile or commercial airline with overnight stays.
