Description:Cava Mezze Grill is a rapidly expanding fast casual restaurant focusing on fresh, Greek & Mediterranean inspired, better-for-you cuisine. Born from our full service restaurants, our chef-driven fast casual format has grown to eight locations in the past few years. With further expansion ahead, we are looking for a creative and thoughtful LA Community Manager to help implement our vision though customer service, social media, and events. The position will report to the Cava Grill Brand Strategist, require a passion for the Cava mission and the drive to create a compassionate and compelling brand.
Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer service through social media, email, and events. Respond to all customer reviews and questions in a timely and professional manner.
• Help manage the brand’s social media presence including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google+, and review sites such as Yelp and TripAdvisor.
• Coordinate store-specific events and fundraisers relevant to the brand and to the region, and work with the managers and field marketers to execute.
• Work with likeminded companies and our community partners to create compelling events for our customers and team members.
• Develop relationships with influencers and bloggers and work with them in a genuine way to promote the Cava brand.
• Spearhead grassroots marketing in the region you’re working in to find and retain new customers.
• Help establish brand guidelines and ensure they are followed and adhered to.
• Keep up with current trends in marketing, social media, customer service, and restaurants, and set a vision of how to incorporate new practices.
Requirements:Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year University (BA in Marketing, Journalism preferred)
• Two years experience as a marketing or customer service professional.
• Outstanding customer service skills. Ability to represent the Cava brand in a highly positive manner and be an expert about our food and our company.
• Deep understanding of social media best practices. Can discover new
technology and practices to drive the brand forward.
• Deep understanding of the relevant market and surrounding area.
• Existing network of relevant contacts specifically within food, active lifestyle, culture and business.
• Ability to engage a crowd and naturally outgoing personality. Upbeat, friendly, engaging personality.
• Ability to collaborate in a team oriented environment and adapt to
evolving responsibilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously and gracefully.
• Desire to be a thought leader.
