Reporting to the Regional Vice President of Operations, the District Manager is responsible for all aspects of the performance of their assigned territory. The District Manager position description includes but it not limited to the following for assigned bakeries: • Achieving and maintaining operational excellence including food quality, customer service, food safety, bakery cleanliness, facilities maintenance, and adherence to standard operating procedures • Attracting, selecting, training, developing and retaining a winning team and ensuring all bakeries are adequately staffed with team members and managers • Managing and promoting sales building programs; such as local store marketing, catering, limited time offers, and promotional events • Maximizing sales and profit • Providing clear, consistent direction, and recognizing team and individual contributions • Promoting a service culture; following up on all guest complaints and celebrating guest compliments with the team • Facilitating communication of information to and from other departments and bakeries, and up and down the company organization structure • Providing training and development as well as validating all training programs are effectively delivered • Identifying and analyzing opportunity areas and implementing sustainable, pro-active solutions • Completing administrative responsibilities and reporting


The ideal Candidate will have: • Demonstrated track record for identifying and developing talent, building winning teams and fostering a culture of internal growth and development • Strong financial and business acumen with a track record of delivering results • Excellent communications skills- verbal and written in English • The ability to build rapport with a diverse group of individuals both team members and guests • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including strong computer and POS skills • The ability to maintain a valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation for daily travel to bakery locations • The ability to stand and maintain mobility for long periods of time • Three plus years multi-unit restaurant supervisory experience • High school diploma or equivalent • College degree in Business or Hospitality Management or related field preferred • Current Serve Safe Food Certification preferred • Ability to maintain daily travel schedule with approximately 25% overnight travel
