KFC is seeking a Digital Business Intelligence Architect to lead the technical implementation of a customer and digital analytics platform to meet the needs of our performance marketing team. We need an individual with experience in helping our business area in crafting their strategy and ensuring that the technology exists and is capable of meeting their needs. They will work cross functionally throughout the organization as the point person for core digital reporting and analytics development.
KFC is a dynamic restaurant-focused organization, where new challenges will challenge you on a daily basis. Applicants for this role need many skills and lots of experience, but who can focus on these primary tasks:
•Implement strategic performance marketing solutions that use best of breed analytical and big data technologies to build consumer insight and drive additional transactions through digital channels.
•Step change business intelligence thinking by analyzing and reporting on campaign performance.
•Define and implement analytical reports and processes using an agile approach. Work on UX wireframes, data schema\translation, testing and deployment.
KFC uses a cloud first methodology that requires understanding and practical experience with technologies such as Microsoft Azure’s Cortana Analytics suite. KFC’s current data architecture is a combination of cloud based and third-party applications.
•Education/Certifications – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Masters a plus.
•Years of Experience
•At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence platforms in various aspects - report building, documentation, training, dashboard, attribute, metric, filter, transformation, cube development. Experience with Microsoft Cortana business intelligence platform a plus.
•At least 3 years of experience working with customer digital data journey such as web analytics, social media and ecommerce. CRM experience a plus.
•At least 2 years of experience with architecting\modeling data warehousing DBMS schemas. Experience with cloud-based DBMS a plus.
•At least 4 years of experience with Business Intelligence solutions, including defining the data structures, ETL processes, the customer schema and reporting & analytics. Experience with the Microsoft Common data model a plus.
•At least 2 years of experience with data governance approaches and practices.
•Microsoft PowerBI - 2 years
•Azure SQL Server Database\Data Warehouse - 3 year
•Azure SQL Analysis - 1 year
•Azure DataFactory - 1 year
•Azure Cortana Analytics Suite - 1 year preferred
•APIs for data access – 1 year
•CRM Platform – 2 years
•Excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to clearly communicate with business area leaders, IT coworkers and vendor partners, using terminology appropriate for each stakeholder group.
•A strong UX design background focusing on dashboard and analytics.
•A strong background in data modeling and reporting schemas.
•Experience managing a performance marketing initiative a plus.
•Experience with restaurant or retail applications is a plus.
•Using your influence to guide the different teams into creating and implementing development standards and common tools and frameworks.
•Must keep security and privacy in mind at all times for all solutions. We value our customers and employees, protecting their data at all times.
•A deep understanding of modern development practices, specifically Agile, Continuous Integration and Testing Automation.
•Experience with CCPA and GDPR a plus
