Responsible for the development and administration of training offerings (includes paper-based training materials, videos, online learning environment) to support KFC-US product, process, or system initiatives and leadership development. Must have the ability to drive a focus on building people capability through training and partnerships with cross-functional teams including Operations, Marketing, Finance, Food Innovation, IT, and Field HR.
Learning Nuggets (30%)
•Lead the creation process with the person/department requesting the Nugget
•Ensure all cross-functional partners have reviewed and approved all content
•Manage the administration and design of the Learning Nuggets gallery
BU Class Execution (30%)
•Manage all administrative tasks for BU offerings including class registrations, logistics, and communication to participants as well as other leaders. Also includes classroom setup and maintenance during class as necessary.
•Support the Certified Trainer recertification process and Microsoft Teams management.
Design/Develop Training Solutions Supporting Breakthrough University, KFC Online University (20%)
•Assists in the design and development of training and resources, applying various approaches (paper-based, eLearning, video, etc.) that best support the learners’ needs.
•Ensure all cross-functional partners have reviewed and approved all content.
•Manage existing training components and update as needed.
Readiness and Instructional Design Support (10%)
•Develop job aids to enhance and support participant learning.
•Support Readiness Team by producing videos for eLearning and national calendar product windows.
ACE Accreditation Process (5%)
•Lead application process for ACE accreditation renewal.
•Manage participant applications and process.
•Create and maintain information on TeamKFC regarding BU offerings.
•Submit articles for weekly communications as necessary.
This position partners and meets with cross-functional partners including Operations, Marketing, Finance, Food Innovation, IT, and Field HR as needed. The position also works directly with sourcing, recognition, destination management groups and shipping vendors to negotiate pricing and ensure all deliverables are received on-time within budget.
Bachelor’s degree (HR/Training/Business preferred); 1-3 years of experience in a related training role preferred.
EXPERIENCE (and other qualifications):
•Graphics/video experience with Adobe Creative Cloud preferred (Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign)
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong ability with PowerPoint
•Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
•Well-organized and self-directed individual with strong project management skills and a team player
•Strong analytical capabilities with good judgment
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals/groups at all levels within the organization.
