Essential Functions
· Warmly greets and acknowledges guests upon arrival
· Effectively merchandise food and beverage menus in an informative, friendly, and enthusiastic manner

Essential Functions
· Collaborates with all members of the RGRR Leadership team to drive success and achieve the company’s goals
· Assists Train Operations Manager with scheduling crews to operate all train departures within designated Hours of Service
· Ensures the Passenger Train Emergency Response Plan is properly maintained and updated. Maintains pertinent incident and compliance records. Conducts and/or facilitates training for all on board personnel to the appropriate level.
· Oversees the Train Operations Manager in modifying any rules or operating procedures as warranted to improve efficiency or safety of the operation. Ensures training on new practices or procedures is provided to all crew members on a timely basis.
· Maintains department financial records for all authorized expenses. Oversees Shop Foreman ordering parts/materials from vendors as needed and ensures proper handling of invoices.
· Writes Requests for Proposals (RFP’s). Seeks competitive bids for purchases, contract services and rental equipment for daily railroad operations.
· Oversees Train Operations Manager with conducting bi-annual/tri-annual training for all covered service employees. Continually monitor for safety, efficiency and regulatory compliance (i.e. drug and alcohol use/abuse).
· Oversee Train Operations Manager regarding maintaining all Hours of Service records for operating employees
· Ensure all pertinent records are properly maintained for CFR 49 Part 240 & 242 programs
· Ensures the monthly injury/illness report, FRA form F6180.55/.55A is completed
· Work with Rock & Rail (RRRR) to coordinate movements of other trains. Ensures proper Track Warrants are acquired and maintained.
· Coordinate with Rock & Rail (RRRR) in updating RGX Subdivision joint timetable/general order as needed to remain current
· Conduct accident/incident investigations from internal control plan. Maintains required records.

· Make recommendations for repairs and improvements to be made to locomotives, cars, buildings, and grounds.
· Works with Shop Foreman to design, plan, and supervise major remodel and refurbishment work to interiors, exteriors on all passenger cars.
· Works with Shop Foreman to plan projects/repair work to accommodate off-season and in-season schedules, efficiently utilizing available labor.
· Works with Shop Foreman to ensure that routine servicing and scheduled preventative maintenance are completed on all equipment.
· Oversees Exterior Railcar Servicing team in coordinating scheduling of septic services, windows & exterior car washing, buffing of paint jobs and hood vents.
· Manages Grounds Maintenance team to coordinate scheduling of regular lawn care services on company properties.
· Supervises the Exterior Railcar Servicing & Grounds Maintenance teams in purchasing and coordinating repairs and servicing of company vehicles and motorized and non-motorized equipment

Summary: The Mechanical Department is responsible for all maintenance and upkeep of the railroad’s fleet of 23 railcars as well as buildings/grounds. The Railcar & Facilities Lead Electrician will be responsible for maintaining the fleet to ensure electrical equipment availability and reliability metrics are met.
Essential Functions
· Works with Shop & Interior Foreman, perform regular & preventative maintenance of electrical components on railcars & facilities using blueprints, schematics, and location circuit plans.
· Works with 480v HEP Railcar power systems.
· Ensures that all signals, lights and other safety appliances used by employees for protection are properly displayed and used.
· Assists Diesel & Generator Mechanic with preventative maintenance related to our power generator cars.

· Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at each train kitchen to assure a smooth service period
· Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications
· Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, grills, panini grills, fryers, microwaves, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range, and refrigeration equipment
· Prepares items for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing, or other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning, and/or marinating
· Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
· Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly
· Assists in food prep assignments at the depot during off-peak periods as needed

About Us: The Royal Gorge Route Railroad carries over 250,000 guests from around the world through Colorado's Royal Gorge. Our focus is on providing an outstanding, safe, and consistently fantastic experience across all touch points while on property and onboard the train. The Royal Gorge Route employs up to approximately 400 staff members during peak seasons, with about 75 on duty at any one time. Our train consist currently supports up to 800 passengers per run, and includes several dome cars, classic dining cars, bar cars, coach cars and open-air cars -- all of which are supported by onboard kitchens and full bars, as well as a scratch-cooking commissary kitchen, ticketing operation and retail experience in the Santa Fe Depot.
Essential Functions
· Warmly greets and acknowledges guests upon arrival.
· Check’s customers identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages when ordered.
· Effectively merchandise food and beverage menus in an informative, friendly, and enthusiastic manner. Answering any questions customers may have concerning menu items.
· Informs customers of any specials.
· Polishes all silverware used for service.
· Accurately takes guest orders in a timely fashion and enters the order into computer system for transmittal to kitchen staff.
· Checks with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems timely.
· Serve food and/or beverages to customers.
· Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, take them to the kitchen for cleaning.
· Cleans, stocks, and maintains the workstations throughout shift.
· Follows all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
· Correctly and precisely calculates each guest check and collect payments.
· Complete cleaning tasks on board during, between and after departures.
· Performs additional responsibilities as directed by management.
Education/Minimum Requirements
· High school diploma or actively pursuing an education
· Prior experience serving in a restaurant preferred
· TIPS certified preferred
