Title: Recruiter II Classification: Non-Exempt Reports To: Recruiting Manager Job Description Position Summary: The Recruiter II will work with the Recruiting Manager to proactively find excellent talent. Recruiter II should be able to attract prospects through a variety of channels, including social media platforms, application tracking systems, job boards, job fairs, and internal referrals. The Recruiter II will be responsible for assisting the Recruiting Department in identifying future hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, vetting & screening candidates, coordinating interview process, conducting interviews, recruiting, facilitating offers, on-boarding, and ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience. General Duties and Responsibilities: · Establish and cultivate relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and team. · members to fill positions with the best talent. · Partner with Recruiting Manager to determine current and upcoming hiring needs. · Update website, applicant tracking system with job openings. · Reviewing applicants resumes and applications. · Coordinate needed signage or advertising for staffing needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Attracting and sourcing candidates by using ATS, recruiting platforms, social media, job fairs, and community resources · Conducting pre-screening of potential candidates · Setting up interviews for job openings · Coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring manager. · Updating Recruiting Manager on best candidates for open positions. · Onboarding new team members to become fully integrated. · Preparing employee files, ensuring team member number, and required documents are filed correctly in folder and ATS. · Provides support to the department and organization as needed. · Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications. · Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices. · Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the team. · Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems Knowledge and Skills: · Excellent customer service skills · Professional phone etiquette skills · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Understanding of English language; read, write, and speak. · Ability to work effectively independently. · Excellent people skills · Strong organization skills · Strong sense of urgency and ability to deliver ahead of deadlines. · Ability to multi-task and manage high volume workload and calls. · Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook · Coordinating recruitment campaigns, including job fairs, career fairs, and recruitment related events that assist in promoting Vallarta as the employer of choice. Required Education and Experience: · High School diploma or equivalent · 1-3 years of successful full cycle recruiting in a fast paced corporate, retail environment · Coordinating and participating in interviews, including preparation of appropriate interview questions, providing input to selection decisions, and preparing offer letters · Strong multi-tasking ability to effectively manage simultaneous candidate pipelines for different departments and positions. · Ability to establish relationships with hiring managers, store operations, and team members. · Familiarity with HR databases (Applicant Tracking System or Candidate Management Systems) · Proven work experience as a Recruiter Physical Demands: Will be required to spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. May also have to do some light lifting of supplies and materials from time to time. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to team members and to convey detailed spoken instructions to other team members accurately, clearly, or quickly. Manage several requests and situations at one time or simultaneously (multitask). Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a Non-Exempt Level Position; Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; schedule would be based on business necessity and coordinated through the reporting supervisor.
