Description:

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting the Facilities Manager in the regular day-to-day maintenance of Snap Kitchen’s new 35,000 square foot USDA production kitchen. The Industrial Maintenance Technician will work alongside the Facilities Manager to regularly inspect the facility for improvements, repairs, and replacements to improve production efficiency. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the facility’s refrigeration, cooking equipment, HVAC, kitchen and warehouse equipment in compliance with the company’s set health and safety standards. Key Accountabilities • Performs typical maintenance work to support the entire production facility • Performs preventative maintenance tasks throughout the building as needed • Regularly inspects and reports defective equipment • Troubleshoots and repairs electrical, mechanical or plumbing malfunctions to ensure the facility is running smoothly to keep production numbers high without compromising safety or quality • Maintains the facility’s refrigeration, cooking equipment, HVAC, kitchen and warehouse equipment in accordance with the company’s safety standards • Follow policies and procedures to adhere to OSHA, FDA, and USDA standards • Record and maintain accurate equipment records

Requirements:

Qualifications • High school or technical school education • Three years of facilities maintenance experience working in a commercial kitchen or production manufacturing environment • Intermediate knowledge of commercial kitchen and warehouse equipment and repairs • Intermediate knowledge of commercial refrigeration, plumbing, and HVAC operations and repairs • Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints • Working knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and USDA standards • Basic MS Excel and Word knowledge • Knowledge of Corrigo or other FMMS systems • Ability to lift 25lbs and up to 100lbs • Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time • Ability to work a set shift schedule and work on-call shifts on an as needed basis

Additional Info:

• Must be flexible with work schedule and the ability to work weekends. • Experience working within a FDA facility is a plus
